DIY Photo Safari #12: Flushing Meadows Corona Park

While Flushing Meadows Corona Park is known for its athletic fields, landscaped meadows, lakes, fountains, playgrounds, stadiums, museums and a zoo, it also has a wonderful history, hosting the 1939 and 1964 World’s Fair, the United Nations General Assembly for five years, three baseball World Series at Shea Stadium, and the U.S. Open.

It is visited by thousands every day who bike, picnic, sunbathe, photograph, and overall enjoy the lovely outdoors in urban New York. It is a magnificent place in which to get lost for a few hours in a day. Why not visit and photograph its beauty?

While you're here, why not visit a few other spots? We suggest the New York Hall of Science, Queens Museum of Art, or the Queens Zoo, all just minutes away!

Try out our Central Park Photo Safari in preparation for your next adventure at Flushing Meadows Corona Park! You'll learn many techniques that will come in handy during this adventure - we promise.
