Some of the best photographs will be from above (if can get above) looking down 6th Avenue as all these cyclists take over the entire road! You might also consider photographing them crossing over the 59th street bridge as well. Just know that the closer you are to the starting point (Battery Park) and starting time, the denser the riders will be. Photographing near the finish line (Staten Island) will mean fewer cyclists clustered together!
