Cheap Tricks #12: Flashlight for your camera bag

Shooting at night is tough enough as it is. Trying to locate things in your bag in the dark is tougher. Although most of us don't spend too much time photographing at night there are times we find ourselves in low light conditions - like in a temple

or a church while traveling abroad or perhaps on a night photo safari. In these few times wouldn't it be nice to have a flash light in our camera bag? As you are thinking, "Great, one more gadget to weigh down my bag!" take a look at this product by Streamlight:

It's less than half the size of a lip balm tube, throws TEN lumens of light for 8 hours, is weather proof and even comes with a handy clip so you won't loose it! So it won't weigh you down and will certainly light you up!
