"Pictures with the human element are always more interesting" is a common blanket statement about photography. Have you ever looked at your parent's vacation photos from Paris (not the cloud photos from the plane, no one should look at those)? The ones of them in front of the Eiffel Tower. Surely, the addition of your parents did not make that picture more interesting.
