Although camera LCD Screens are getting larger they are still rather small, so why not get more out of your screen?
Almost all camera manufacturers set their cameras to automatically rotate the image so that you do not have to rotate your camera. In other words, if you have taken a vertical picture the camera will rotate it on your screen automatically. But what this means is that you will only be using half of your available LCD screen. Turn this function OFF in your main menu and you’ll be using the entire screen.
