At New York City Photo Safari our motto is "Turning Picture Takers Into Image Makers" and we take our motto seriously. Our New York photo tours are more photography class in New York than a walking tours. Our goal is to help you learn how to take better pictures of New York and we believe everyone can create great pictures of New York. We also believe it's not the camera equipment but the photographer who takes a picture. While most New York City photo walking tours are known as "postcard" tours where the guide leads you through New York City pointing landmarks like the Empire State Building or the Brooklyn Bridge, we provide you: a professional photographer guide. Our New York photo guides have degrees in photography and work as New York City photographers; photo guides who understand the technical aspects of photography to answer your photography questions AND also understands the aesthetics of being an image maker. Our photo guides can certainly can point out the New York City landmarks the Flat Iron Building, Radio City Music Hall, the Brooklyn Bridge, etc. but they are there to show you how to create great pictures of New York City no matter where you are in New York City. Our photographers live in NYC and know it well. Join New York City Photo Safari for a New York photo tour and let us help you take better pictures of New York.

"Give a man a camera and he'll take a picture. Teach him to create an image and he'll have memories for a lifetime."
